Double-thick Potholder

This is a little potholder I whipped up. I finished it today as well. It is double-thick, which is nice, but it came out much smaller than I wanted. (You can tell how small it is by comparing it to the lip balm in the picture.) It was really easy though, so it won't take long to make a larger one. This is done in Sugar 'n' Cream, color Faded Denim.

Blessing Blanket

This is the blanket I intend to use when the baby is blessed. I loooove it. I just finished it today. You can't really tell from the picture but it has a nice texture, without being bobbly or anything.
And did I bother to check my gauge? Of course not! So it is about 5 inches short each way. Oops. Ha ha And I didn't even use 15 oz, though the pattern called for 24. Though if it had been any bigger, I don't know how the edging would have worked because it's a bit tight with the blanket being 5 inches smaller. The body was worked on the diagonal. A first for me, and I enjoyed it. This pattern came from the 2005 Simply Creative Crochet magazine and I used Softee baby yarn.

Princess' Baby Blanket

I crocheted this baby blanket for Princess and her baby. Too bad I didn't finish it until he was two months old! Ha ha Oh well. This blanket is really quite big, and it took forever!!!!!! I used a Pound of Love (plus a bit).
